Cossie saves Celts
A last minute strike from Andrew Cosgrave saw Clonmel Celtic scrape into Round 2 of the Tipperary Cup after a hard fought 2-1 win against first division Galbally Utd this afternoon. Despite Celtic having more possession and creating the better chances the first half finished scoreless. Celtic were rocked on 53 minutes when Jamie Morrissey gave the visitors the lead. However the home side hit back within 2 minutes with Andrew Cosgrave firing home from the edge of the box. Celtic pushed hard for a winner but Galbally defended resolutely and just when it looked like we were heading for extra time Andy Cosgrave scored from a tight angle in the 90th minute to send Celtic though to Round 2.
